December's Bible Studies

There are so many wonderful things for us at this time of year. Beautiful trees, displays of lights and decorations, all placed by loving hands to bring us joy. There are gifts carefully chosen just for us, cookies and cakes fill our houses with delightful smells, wonderful music echoes throughout, the type of which is reserved but for this special time alone. In the midst of this seasonal grandeur, let us never forget the reason for the season.

We celebrate His birth each year, to remember graciously the everlasting gift that our Father in Heaven gave to us. Through a virgin He was born, in a manger in Bethlehem, The Lord Jesus Christ. Look out at the night sky and see the most sparkling star which made Christ known to the wise men, and lead them to Him.

What does Christ use to lead you to Him?

He calls us this day. Let's go...

"NOVEMBER'S BIBLE STUDIES"

For a warm sunbeam, coming through your window, touching you, as gently as if the Lord's hand was softly pressed against yours. For the pleasure we feel as we are kept warm. For the smell of a delicious meal cooking. For this food that our Good Lord provided, for these things and millions of others that are daily given with mercy and love unto us, let us present thanksgiving unto the Lord. We should give Him thanks every day. His Goodness is not limited to just one day a year. Every time He answers a prayer, let us give Him thanksgiving. For us to feel we can go to Him with a prayer, let us give Him thanksgiving. It's limitless.

He's waiting for us. Let's go to Him in His Word.........

October's Bible Studies

If what Jesus had to say about the Devil is true, then he is something more than just an idea for a Halloween costume.

Even what can appear harmless, might in truth be very dangerous.

{Help me resist evil, Father; I know that I'm human and that sometimes I'm weak and could be tempted to go down paths that would lead me to disaster. Please don't let me be blinded, but to always have Your truths in my heart and mind at all times, I pray. In Jesus' Name.}

To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under Heaven.

-Ecclesiastes 3:1

Autumn time once again. Time to look for our sweaters and jackets. School time for the children is here again. You can smell the change in the air. Bible Studies for August

As we're feeling the intense heat of the summer days, let us think for a moment about the plans God has for the earth's future. The bible says: 'The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.' [2 Peter 3:10] nkjv

Yes, that day is coming. But for those who have accepted The Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior and placed their faith in Him while here on this earth, they have been given the promise that they will spend eternity with Him in heaven. [Thank you Jesus.]

Today, dear Christian, let us remember that this is the day that the Lord has made, so let us rejoice and be glad in it. There is beauty and joy in each day. Let's look for today's.

We don't know day by day if there will be another tomorrow here on earth, but we can always be assured of His love for us.

I love You Lord Jesus,

my Redeemer!

-Rev. Debbie*

Grandma Gointer's Beautiful Antique Patchwork Quilt

Beautiful HANDMADE, ANTIQUE PATCHWORK QUILT!!!!!
What is it about the Lord Jesus and any talk of Him that makes some people angry?......

I have a mySpace account and in my quest for everyone to know about Him, I placed links to my blogspot blogs so others can see the things I've written about Him here also. Today I noticed on my mySpace account that someone had complained and said my blogspot blogs were spam.
That they were filth and phish, that I was trying to spread viruses. That makes me sad.
Those links have been deleted. I'm very thankful for blogspot. It allows me to share whatever I wish. My blessings to those who love the Holiness of our Lord Jesus! (I praise You Lord Jesus!)

***********************************************************

THINE, O LORD, IS THE GREATNESS, AND THE POWER,
AND THE GLORY, AND THE VICTORY, AND THE MAJESTY:
FOR ALL THAT IS IN THE HEAVEN AND IN THE EARTH IS THINE;
THINE IS THE KINGDOM, O LORD, AND THOU ART EXALTED
AS HEAD ABOVE ALL. AMEN

*************************************************

The Lord is who He says He is and
He can be trusted.

************************************

We belong to the Lord.
He owns us Twice:

First: Isaiah 44:2 {KJV} tells us:

"The Lord made you and formed you from the womb."

Second: He bought you again when He Redeemed you by His death on the Cross.

-There can no longer be doubt.

Blessings to to you in your quest for a life filled
with our Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ.

Choose the path you take,

with care.

Blessings-Rev. Debbie*

Jesus is coming back for His own.
I wonder about those who have ignored Him; Those who knew about Him, and yet their choice was not to follow Him. Their choice was to instead, wring out every bit of fun and entertainment from the world that they could; or those who thought He just wasn't worth their time.
These people say, " It's joy! Joy is what I'm experiencing!" (Their JOY?) They don't know what joy is or what it can be. None of us really do; Yet those who know the Lord Jesus Christ: [Yeshua, Emmanuel, Prince of Peace, our Redeemer, our Deliverer, our Messiah, our Saviour, The King of kings, and The Lord of lords] know it cannot be found anywhere but in Him, through Him, by Him, and only because of Him.
What this world calls fun is very costly. In many different aspects.
Financially, morally, sometimes physically and mentally as well.
Entertainment seems to be just as damaging as well. Is there anything [ever] good to see on any viewing screen? I'm talking about movies, TV, computer? You know, I think there is.
There is, but I believe they're few and far between. You actually have to look for those.
I've come to understand that although there might be some decent things, the world, as a whole, isn't interested in those. It appears that those aren't any fun. The fun ones have violence; shootings- lots of guns, knives, just weapons of all sorts. There has to be murder, mayhem, peril, slayings, thievery, heartache, pain, fear, and lots of death and killings.
There has to be crashes and smashes and NOISE!
Also there has to be anger and hatred and deception, trickery, and actions of violence.
That seems to be a main ingredient. It could be person to person violence, violence against animals, destruction of belongings, or property. [PSYCHOTIC!]
These shows are called 'ACTION' or 'ACTION/ADVENTURE' movies.
The biggest thing though, is SEX. It seems like, if there's none of that, then...whatever these people are trying to sell, just won't sell. If it won't SELL, there won't be any MONEY made from it; If there's no money, that means there will be no joy.

SO WHAT HAVE WE LEARNED? LET'S SURMISE:
This world says that in order to find joy, we need to have fun. Lots of fun!
World says this means we need entertainment; or we need to entertain ourselves.
World says both of those things can give us a lot of fun. Looks like if we need to start the entertaining process, we should look around and copy the way other people are doing it.
{They must be smarter than us because they figured it out before we did.}
Everybody knows we're all stupid anyway, in school we learned that we are made from a mud blob. {or a monkey, somebody told me that} If we act violent or hurt others, that might be fun.
Or since people have to have money, maybe we need to focus on that first.
We don't have jobs because we don't have skills, and we didn't get any education at school because the teachers were too busy teaching us how to use a condom, and that it's okay to be gay. That's it!...we learned all about how OK it is to have sex, that doesn't seem hard! Maybe we can sell our worthless bodies for entertainment to make money! Sex is fun they said. Maybe we can put drugs and alcohol in us, too! Sounds like great fun! (then will there be joy?)
THAT IS WHAT THE WORLD TELLS US!
DOES THAT SOUND RIGHT?

It's time to wake up. We can't still stay sleeping. Jesus is waiting for us.
Change is in the air. I can just smell it. It smells so fresh. I believe the plans are in the works. If I had to die for Christ, I would. He's the reason I've ever lived. He's the reason for every breath I take. He's the reason for any bit of kindness that has ever came from me. If there's anything good in me, it's Jesus. I'm so not perfect, don't get me wrong! Just like everyone else, I walk and fall every day of my life in this worldly struggle that each of us is in. Left to myself without Him, I'm wicked and deserving of nothing more than hell. But I'm not alone. I praise Him for saving me. Not just from this world, but from the wickedness of myself.
I despise the person I was before I gave my life to Him.
That person is no more. I am a new creation. He gave me a new heart.
He promises He will never leave me or forsake me.

Believing that He is coming back for believers in Him alone, is difficult for us to believe, but we have to face it and be ready for His return. We have to trust Him. He won't come back to die for us again. The day is coming when the Father will say, " Son, go get my children!" Jesus is coming back. He's coming for His own. If you wait until then, don't think He will listen to you if you should hang on His leg and tell Him you love Him. Today is the day and now is the time. Don't give Him empty words. A tape recorder can give that amount of love. If you love Him, show Him now. You might not have that chance later. Would you want to be left when the Christians go home? There will be nobody left here but unsaved people.
<>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <>< <><
Heaven's gates are closed. He wants to open them for you.
He'll use His nail-scarred hands.
But if you reject Him now, He'll reject you then.

Yours in Christ, Rev. Debbie* <>< <>< <><
