Merry Christmas Time!
There is one Christmas Carol that is just baffling. What in the world do leaping lords, French hens, swimming swans, and especially the partridge who won't come out of the pear tree have to do with Christmas?
This week, I found out.
From 1558 until 1829, Roman Catholics in England were not permitted to practice their faith openly. Someone during that era wrote this carol as a catechism song for young Catholics. It has two levels of meaning: the surface meaning plus a hidden meaning known only to members of their church. Each element in the carol has a code word for a religious reality which the children could remember.
-The partridge in a pear tree was Jesus Christ.
-Two turtle doves were the Old and New Testaments.
-Three French hens stood for faith, hope and love.-
-The four calling birds were the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke & John.
-The five golden rings recalled the Torah or Law, the first five books of the Old Testament.
-The six geese a-laying stood for the six days of creation.
-Seven swans a-swimming represented the sevenfold gifts of the Holy Spirit--Prophesy, Serving, Teaching, Exhortation, Contribution, Leadership, and Mercy.
-The eight maids a-milking were the eight beatitudes.
-Nine ladies dancing were the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit--Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control.
-The ten lords a-leaping were the ten commandments.
-The eleven pipers piping stood for the eleven faithful disciples.
-The twelve drummers drumming symbolized the twelve points of belief in the Apostles' Creed.
So there is your history for today. This knowledge was shared with me and I found it interesting and enlightening and now I know how that strange song became a Christmas Carol...so pass it on if you wish.'

Merry Christmas Everyone!

LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT:
CHRISTMAS AT ARLINGTON CEMETERY
(I wonder why the press hasn't enlightened the public about this ??)
Arlington National Cemetery
...Rest easy, sleep well my brothers.
Know the line has held, your job is done.
Rest easy, sleep well.
Others have taken up where you fell, the line has held.
Peace, peace, and farewell...
Readers may be interested to know that the wreaths at Arlington Cemetery...(some 5,000 of them) are donated by the Worcester Wreath Co. of Harrington, Maine . The owner, Merrill Worcester, not only provides the wreaths, but covers the trucking expense as well. He's done this since 1992.
A wonderful guy. Also, most years, groups of Maine school kids combine an educational trip to DC with this event to help out. Making this even more remarkable is the fact that Harrington is in one of the poorest parts of the state.
You hear too much about the bad things people do. Everyone should hear about this gift of love for our fallen soldiers. It's a beautiful gift! -Rev.Debbie ♥

I got a call from our bank that my credit card had been stolen, I had over $10,000 worth of fraudulent activity on my card. The worst part was that they wouldn’t replace the funds in my account until the investigation was complete which could be up to a year! I would have to borrow money from our “rainy day” fund until they completed the investigation.
I called our credit union, where we keep our savings, and spoke with my favorite banker, Sheila. I explained the situation; she shared my frustration and began the process for transferring the money. I’ve been banking with our credit union for over 15 years, we just had a conversation about my kids and her husband’s surgery, so imagine my surprise when she asked me, “Can you tell me the name on the account?”
Had I been a stranger this would have been routine practice but, given the fact that we had 10 minutes of friendly conversation seconds before, I was taken aback. I answered her question curtly, emphasizing my confusion. “The address where you receive your account statement?” she continued. I subdued the part of my brain that wanted to reply “The same address where you came to the Christmas party” and gave our address… This line of questioning continued with her asking my maiden name, the last four digits of my social, and then lastly, the reason for my call. “I am requesting access to MY money, Sheila, that’s why I am calling!” I yelled into the receiver.
Sheila, not fazed by my outburst, replied “I know it seems tedious but, when you’re removing your funds before the maturity date there can be consequences. We have to go through this line of questioning so we can be sure that you understand the risks of taking the funds out early. Even though I understand why you need the money, answering these questions let us know how badly you want it. “
Sheila knew from the very beginning why I was calling, she knew why I needed the funds when we began the process, I had made my request known but it wasn’t until the questioning was complete that she understood how desperately I wanted it.
The end of Philippians 4:6 admonishes us to “make our request known to God.” I can’t help but wonder why we are making our request KNOWN to God when it is clear that He is all-knowing. Then I began to wonder what if us making our request known to God isn’t so that He knows what we want, it’s so He understands just how badly we want it?
Much like the banker who knew the woman well, she could not release the funds until the woman fully understood the weight of her request. It is not enough to desire something, if you aren’t willing to go through the formal process to receive. It was the woman’s money but the banker had the authority to release the funds. There is a blessing with your name on it and God is waiting to give you access. Have you made your request? What are you willing to go through to get what God has for you? Are you willing to be tested? Can you take the risk that comes with being blessed?
When we make our requests to God, we are not telling Him anything He doesn’t know. Psalms 37:4 teaches us, “Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart” God knows what we want the moment it is laid in our heart but, when our desire meets passion we must fall to our knees and pray that God sees that we are willing to do whatever it takes to receive His blessings. When we fully understand the highs and the lows of God blessing us, He can allow us access to more.
Many of us desire more from God but we don’t want to take the risk that it comes with. Are you willing to let some people go to get what God has for you? Do you mind losing a job, if it means saving your marriage? You’ve made your request, now it’s time to see how badly you want it. How many tears are you willing to sow, before you reap in joy? Don’t just ask God for a blessing, request strength to go through the risks of being blessed.
At the beginning of 2011, I asked God to strengthen my marriage. I prayed that He would give us stability, that my parent’s would be in good health, that my children would be happy, and that my family’s lives would be fulfilled. I spent January through June thinking that God didn’t hear my prayers. One thing after another began to pile on me… I didn’t understand why, if I had “made my request known”, nothing was coming to fruition. It wasn’t until September that I realized that those months when I felt like God didn’t hear me was Him verifying that I was ready to be blessed. God knew what I wanted, I just did not know that some of the best blessings come with risk.
God, help us to understand that what You have for us can change the very essence of our being but, the road may not be easy. Give us wisdom when we make our request, so that we may understand that just because we ask doesn’t mean that it is immediately given to us. Give us patience as we learn that there are some blessings that are worth the trials and tribulations that come with them. Above all God help me to see that You have blessings waiting for me that I don’t have room to receive; I just need to understand the risk of making a request. ♥

A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said, "Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like."
The Lord led the holy man to two doors. He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew, which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth water. The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful. But because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths. The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering.
The Lord said, "You have seen Hell."
They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man's mouth water. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking.
The Lord said, "You have seen Heaven."
The holy man said, "I don't understand."
"It is simple," said the Lord. "In Heaven, it requires but one skill. You see, they have learned to feed each other. In Hell, the greedy think only of themselves."

Now I know why You had to do it - A Christmas Parable
(by Fr. Tommy Lane)
“Once upon a time there was a man who looked upon Christmas as a lot of humbug. He wasn’t a Scrooge. He was a kind and decent person, generous to his family, upright in all his dealings with other men. But he didn’t believe all that stuff about Incarnation which churches proclaim at Christmas. And he was too honest to pretend that he did. “I am truly sorry to distress you,” he told his wife, who was a faithful churchgoer. “But I simply cannot understand this claim that God becomes man. It doesn’t make any sense to me.”
On Christmas Eve his wife and children went to church for the midnight service. He declined to accompany them. “I’d feel like a hypocrite,” he explained. “I’d rather stay at home. But I’ll wait up for you.”
Shortly after his family drove away in the car, snow began to fall. He went to the window and watched the flurries getting heavier and heavier. “If we must have Christmas,” he thought, “it’s nice to have a white one.” He went back to his chair by the fireside and began to read his newspaper. A few minutes later he was startled by a thudding sound. It was quickly followed by another, then another.
He thought that someone must be throwing snowballs at his livingroom window. When he went to the front door to investigate, he found a flock of birds huddled miserably in the storm. They had been caught in the storm and in a desperate search for shelter had tried to fly through his window. “I can’t let these poor creatures lie there and freeze,” he thought. “But how can I help them?” Then he remembered the barn where the children’s pony was stabled. It would provide a warm shelter.
He put on his coat and galoshes and tramped through the deepening snow to the barn. He opened the door wide and turned on a light. But the birds didn’t come in. “Food will lure them in,” he thought. So he hurried back to the house for bread crumbs, which he sprinkled on the snow to make a trail into the barn. To his dismay, the birds ignored the bread crumbs and continued to flop around helplessly in the snow. He tried shooing them into the barn by walking around and waving his arms. They scattered in every direction - except into the warm lighted barn.
“They find me a strange and terrifying creature,” he said to himself, “and I can’t seem to think of any way to let them know they can trust me. If only I could be a bird myself for a few minutes, perhaps I could lead them to safety. . . .”
Just at that moment the church bells began to ring. He stood silent for a while, listening to the bells pealing the glad tidings of Christmas. Then he sank to his knees in the snow. “Now I do understand,” he whispered. “Now I see why You had to do it.” ♥

December's Bible Studies
There are so many wonderful things for us at this time of year. Beautiful trees, displays of lights and decorations, all placed by loving hands to bring us joy. There are gifts carefully chosen just for us, cookies and cakes fill our houses with delightful smells, wonderful music echoes throughout, the type of which is reserved but for this special time alone. In the midst of this seasonal grandeur, let us never forget the reason for the season.
We celebrate His birth each year, to remember graciously the everlasting gift that our Father in Heaven gave to us. Through a virgin He was born, in a manger in Bethlehem, The Lord Jesus Christ. Look out at the night sky and see the most sparkling star which made Christ known to the wise men, and lead them to Him.
What does Christ use to lead you to Him?
He calls us this day. Let's go...

Hi Friends!
I wanted to share this story with you.
I think this story is great!
I was thinking...maybe, just maybe, God wants these grave sights to be out from under water, out in the air, as a witness to Himself when the graves of the believers burst open at the rapture! None will be forgotten. ♥
1 Thessalonians 4:16
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God:
and the dead in Christ shall rise first"

Expose Ghost Towns, Graves And Prehistoric Bones
Now, the cracked marble tombstone engraved with the date Oct. 15, 1882, which is normally covered by 20 to 30 feet of water, has been eerily exposed as a yearlong drought shrinks one of Texas' largest lakes.
Across the state, receding lakes have revealed a prehistoric skull, ancient tools, fossils and a small cemetery that appears to contain the graves of freed slaves. Some of the discoveries have attracted interest from local historians, and looters also have scavenged for pieces of history. More than two dozen looters have been arrested at one site.
"In an odd way, this drought has provided an opportunity to view and document, where appropriate, some of these finds and understand what they consist of," said Pat Mercado-Allinger, the Texas Historical Commission's archeological division director. "Most people in Texas probably didn't realize what was under these lakes."
Texas finished its driest 12 months ever with an average of 8.5 inches of rain through September, nearly 13 inches below normal. Water levels in the region's lakes, most of which were manmade, have dropped by more than a dozen feet in many cases.
The vanishing water has revealed the long-submerged building foundations of Woodville, Okla., which was flooded in 1944 when the Red River was dammed to form Lake Texoma. A century-old church has emerged at Falcon Lake, which straddles the Texas-Mexico border on the Rio Grande.
Steven Standke and his wife, Carol, drove to the old Bluffton site on a sandy rutted path that GPS devices designate not as a road but the middle of the 22,335-acre lake, normally almost 31 miles long and five miles wide.
"If you don't see it now, you might never see it again," said Carol Standke, of Center Point, as she and her husband inspected the ruins a mile from where concrete seawalls ordinarily would keep the lake from waterfront homes.
Old Bluffton has been exposed occasionally during times of drought. The receding waters have revealed concrete foundations of a two-story hotel, scales of an old cotton gin, a rusting tank and concrete slabs from a Texaco station that also served as a general store. The tallest structure is what's left of the town well, an open-topped concrete cube about 4 feet high. Johnny Parks' tombstone is among a few burial sites.
Local historian Alfred Hallmark, whose great-great-great grandfather helped establish Bluffton, said his research showed 389 graves were moved starting in 1931 when dam construction began. That's the same year Bluffton's 40 or 50 residents started moving several miles west to the current Bluffton, which today amounts to a convenience store and post office at a lonely highway intersection serving 200 residents.
Residents had to leave their ranches and abandon precious pecan trees, some of which produced more than 1,000 pounds of nuts each year. "It was devastating," said Hallmark, 70, a retired teacher, of the move. "They had no choice."
Other depleted lakes across Texas are revealing much older artifacts. More than two dozen looters have been arrested at Lake Whitney, about 50 miles south of Fort Worth, for removing Native American tools and fossils that experts believe could be thousands of years old.
The Army Corps of Engineers, which oversees Lake Whitney, is patrolling a number of areas that contain artifacts, including some rock shelters once filled with water, said Abraham Phillips, natural resources specialist with the agency.
At Lake Georgetown near Austin, fishermen discovered what experts determined was the skull of an American Indian buried for hundreds or thousands of years. It's not clear what will become of the skull, said Kate Spradley, a Texas State University assistant anthropology professor who is keeping it temporarily in a lab. Strict federal laws governing American Indian burial sites bar excavations to search for other remains.
No such restrictions exist for the nearly two dozen unmarked graves discovered this summer in a dried-up section of a Navarro County reservoir. Some coffin lids are visible just under the dirt. Crews plan to excavate the site about 50 miles south of Dallas and move the remains to a cemetery, said Bruce McManus, chairman of the county's historical commission. He said the area of Richland-Chambers Lake is on property formerly owned by a slave owner.
"This is a once-in-a-lifetime find ... and maybe the only silver lining in the ongoing drought," McManus said.

JERUSALEM (AP) — A tiny, exquisitely made box found on an excavated street in Jerusalem is a token of Christian faith from 1,400 years ago, Israeli archaeologists said Sunday.
The box, carved from the bone of a cow, horse or camel, decorated with a cross on the lid and measuring only 0.8 inches by 0.6 inches (2 centimeter by 1.5 centimeter), was likely carried by a Christian believer around the end of the 6th century A.D, according to Yana Tchekhanovets of the Israel Antiquities Authority, one of the directors of the dig where the box was found.
When the lid is removed, the remains of two portraits are still visible in paint and gold leaf. The figures, a man and a woman, are probably Christian saints and possibly Jesus and the Virgin Mary.
The box was found in an excavation outside the walls of Jerusalem's Old City in the remains of a Byzantine-era thoroughfare, she said. Uncovered two years ago, it was treated by preservation experts and extensively researched before it was unveiled at an archaeological conference last week.
The box is important in part because it offers the first archaeological evidence that the use of icons in the Byzantine period was not limited to church ceremonies, she said.
Part of a similar box was found three decades ago in Jordan, but this is the only well-preserved example to be found so far, she said. Similar icons are still carried today by some Christian believers, especially from the eastern Orthodox churches.
The relic was found in the City of David excavation, a Jerusalem dig named for the biblical monarch believed to have ruled a Jewish kingdom from the site.
The politically sensitive dig is located in what is today the Palestinian neighborhood of Silwan, just outside the Old City walls in east Jerusalem, the section of the holy city captured by Israel in the 1967 Mideast war and claimed by the Palestinians as their capital. •

(This is beautiful and I think you'll really like it!)
From a sermon by Charles Haddon Spurgeon entitled "The Eternal Day,"
delivered May 31, 1874.
It was a glad day for Israel when the trumpets rang out the morning of the Jubilee, for every slave was free, and every debtor found his liabilities discharged. Back came each man’s lost inheritance, and the whole nation was glad. With sound of trumpet and of cornet they saluted the rising of the sun on the first day of that Jubilee year; but the jubilee year went by, and lands were mortgaged and forfeited, and slaves fell again into slavery, and bankrupts were again seized by their creditors. Ah, beloved, we are coming to a jubilee, of which the trumpets shall sound on for ever. We shall regain our once forfeited inheritance never to have it encumbered any more; we shall snap the fetters which have bound us, never to feel them again. “If the Son make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” _______________________________________________________________ Blessings to you and yours, believers! New international organization to bring world religions under one roof
The foreign ministers of Austria, Saudi Arabia and Spain signed the founding treaty of a new international organization designed to foster dialogue between the world's major religions on Thursday.
"The thesis is valid that world peace cannot exist without peace between the world's major religions," Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal said during the signing ceremony in Vienna.
The King Abdullah Center for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue, initiated and financed largely by Saudi money, is set to have its seat in Vienna. Plans envision an organization with a governing body composed of 12 representatives from the world's five largest religions.
The governing body is set to be staffed by two Muslims (Sunni and Shiite), three Christians (Catholic, Anglican and Orthodox), a Buddhist, a Hindu and a Jew. The organization will also have a consulting body with 100 representatives from the five world religions plus other faiths as well as academics and members of civil society.
Saudi initiative
Austria's Foreign Minister Michael Spindelegger said that the organization's structures are designed to ensure that none of the represented religions dominates the organization. The three founding states are also open to the membership of other countries, according to Spanish Foreign Minister Trinidad Jimenez Garcia-Herrera. Saudi Arabia largely initiated and financed the organization
Saudi King Abdullah initiated the idea for the center after visiting Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican in 2007, the first Saudi monarch to do so. Shortly thereafter, King Abdullah stated that Christians and Muslims should offer a common message of peace to humanity.
Abdullah then initiated an interfaith dialogue in Mecca in 2008 followed by a second meeting in Madrid with Jewish representation. A third meeting took place in Vienna's Hofburg in 2009, where the concept of the organization was agreed upon.
The Initiative of Liberal Muslims protested Thursday's signing ceremony in Vienna, saying that the center was an attempt by Saudi Arabia to spread a conservative form of Islam.

Chrislam Starts To Spread In America
Pastors that are really wolves in sheep’s clothingYou knew this day was going to come, when the liberal “love gospel” preachers who, desiring to fill their seats and bank accounts, would find a way to merge apostate christianity with the Devil’s religion of Islam. That day is here.
Quote of the Day: “Before we “shake your hand” in responding to your letter, we ask forgiveness of the All-Merciful One and of the Muslim community around the world.”– Rick Warren in a speech to Muslims.

I wanted to show you this today in light of world events:
Israel lost a dear Christian friend and supporter when David Wilkerson, pastor of Times Square Church in New York City, was killed in a tragic car accident near Dallas, Texas, April 27, 2011.
He was a great man of God.
In 2003, Israel Today editor Aviel Schneider had the privilege of interviewing Wilkerson during a visit to the UK. That interview is reproduced below:
Wilkerson: I read the Koran and I am sure that this book is false teaching. Islam is a religion of destruction. I find it so strange that Gospel preachers don’t understand that God didn’t break His covenant with Israel. God gave the Land to Israel, and every nation that wants to destroy Israel will be punished.
israel today: You have great courage to take such a strong pro-Israel stand.
Wilkerson: I’m often criticized in the Christian world for this. But I feel God’s rich blessing for it, which is much more valuable to me.
israel today: After the war in Iraq, Israel is once again at the top of the world’s agenda. Do you think the ‘roadmap’ has a chance to bring peace between Israelis and Palestinians?
Wilkerson: No! How can Bush, who knows the Bible, have no fear of God and pressure Israel into territorial compromise for the sake of the roadmap? God will punish him for it. The dollar will fall, Bush will sink into depression and he could very well lose the next election. I pray daily that the President’s believing advisors will influence him more than his political advisors.
israel today: In other words, you’re saying there’s no human solution to the conflict between Israel and the Arabs?
Wilkerson: God has promised to protect His people. He’s made a covenant and given them the Promised Land. He set the nation’s borders and He will safeguard them. I don’t see a realistic hope for peace because I can’t imagine that Israel will relinquish the Jewish settlements, as the Arabs are demanding. The Arabs also say there won’t be peace unless East Jerusalem becomes the capital of a Palestinian state. But that’s strictly against God’s will. My friend, if the world forces Jerusalem to be divided, it will come to chaos.
israel today: We in Israel can thank God that He is our secret weapon.
Wilkerson: Please publish my warning to the nations that take a stand against God’s people and His city Jerusalem. God said this and He will fulfill it. Shalom and God’s blessings.

I hope you're doing great today!
Jesus is the Bread of Life, so I thought I'd give you this story of our Great Lord and Hope, Jesus Christ!
I thought this story was just beautiful and I wanted to share it with you:
Why Did Jesus Fold the Napkin?
{John 20:6-7}
The above verses tell us that the napkin, which was placed over the face of Jesus, was not just thrown aside like the grave clothes. The Bible takes an entire verse to tell us that his napkin was neatly folded, and was placed at the head of that stony coffin.
Early the next morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the Entrance. She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved. She said, 'They have taken the Lord's body out of the tomb, and I don't know where they have put him!'
Peter and the other disciple ran to the tomb to see. The other disciple outran Peter and got there first. He stooped and looked in and saw the linen cloth lying there, but he didn't go in. Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there...
In order to understand the significance of the folded napkin, you have to understand a little bit about Hebrew tradition of that day. The folded napkin had to do with the Master and Servant, and every Jewish boy knew this tradition. When the servant set the dinner table for the master, he made sure that it was exactly the way the master wanted it.
The table was furnished perfectly, and then the servant would wait, just out of sight, until the master had finished eating, and the servant would not dare touch that table, until the master was finished. Now if the master were done eating, he would rise from the table, wipe his fingers, his mouth, and clean his beard, and would wad up that napkin and toss it onto the table. The servant would then know to clear the table.
But if the master got up from the table, and folded his napkin, and laid it beside his plate, the servant would not dare touch the table, because..........
Enjoy your day!

'Twas The Night Before Jesus Came'
(written by Unknown Author)
'Twas the night before Jesus came and all through the house
Not a creature was praying, not one in the house.
Their Bibles were lain on the shelf without care
In hopes that Jesus would not come there.
The children were dressing to crawl into bed.
Not once ever kneeling or bowing a head.
And Mom in her rocker with baby on her lap
Was watching the Late Show while I took a nap.
When out of the East there arose such a clatter.
I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash!
When what to my wondering eyes should appear
But angels proclaiming that Jesus was here.
With a light like the sun sending forth a bright ray
I knew in a moment this must be THE DAY!
The light of His face made me cover my head
It was Jesus! returning just like He had said.
And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth,
I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself.
In the Book of Life which He held in His hand
Was written the name of every saved man.
He spoke not a word as He searched for my name;
When He said "it's not here" my head hung in shame.
The people whose names had been written with love
He gathered to take to His Father above.
With those who were ready He rose without a sound.
While all the rest were left standing around.
I fell to my knees, but it was too late;
I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate.
I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight;
Oh, if only I had been ready tonight.
In the words of this poem the meaning is clear;
The coming of Jesus is drawing near.
There's only one life and when comes the last call
We'll find that the Bible was true after all! ♥

Hi Guys and Gals!
Don't give up on our Lord's soon return in the air for His own! He's coming soon!
So many things are going on all over the world that are just hard to even fathom. Today alone, over 1,900 dead birds in Nevada! There was a report of horses falling down dead on a property in New Zealand, floods of Biblical proportions in Thailand, Christ Church in New Zealand is shaking! These things aren't 'business as usual'! He's coming and we have to be ready!
If you're an unbeliever:
In order to be saved, one may sincerely pray a prayer like this:
Lord, I thank You for Your love and Your mercy, thank You, Lord, for the word that has reached my heart today. Father, I ask for Your forgiveness. Forgive me. Wash me with Your precious blood. Please write my name in the Book of Life. Accept me as Your child, Lord. Right now, I forgive anyone that I had not been able to forgive. I renounce my sinful ways! I renounce all things that have hindered Your being Savior of my life, and I ask You to please transform me and wash me white as snow. Please fill me with Your presence every day. Thank You, Father, Son and Holy Spirit; in the Name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
If you said that prayer and meant it from your heart, you are now a child of God.
AND NOW MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU AND MAY THE LORD KEEP YOU AND MAY THE LORD MAKE HIS FACE TO SHINE UPON YOU AND MAY THE LORD BE GRACIOUS UNTO YOU AND GIVE YOU HIS PEACE. MAY YOU WALK IN THE DIVINE DESTINY THAT GOD HAS FOR YOU. MAY YOU HAVE THE PEACE OF GOD THAT SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING AND MAY GOD GIVE YOU THE DESIRES OF YOUR HEART FOR HE IS YOUR FATHER AND HE CONTROLS YOUR TOMORROWS. REJOICE AND BE EXCEEDINGLY GLAD FOR YOU ARE HIS AND HE IS YOURS, IN JESUS’ NAME.

We're going home soon Friends!
Stay strong!! Keep oil in your lamps! Our Bridegroom is coming!!
I bet Mary & Martha were looking hard for Jesus when Lazarus was sick, and then he died. I bet they were just heart-sick! Jesus hadn't arrived when they wanted and needed Him! Even though He loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus, when Jesus heard Lazarus was sick He stayed two days longer, on purpose! He knew what He was doing! And He knows what He's doing right now, too. Whatever is going on, He's doing it for our best and it'll be plain in the end.
(from John 11:5-6 -King James Version.)
We just have to wait awhile longer.

18 Examples Of How Christians Are Being Specifically Targeted By Big Brother
When the freedom of speech of one group is being threatened, it is a threat to all of us. Just because you may not be a Christian, don't think that what you are about to read is not a problem for you as well. The truth is that any individual or group that does not "fit in" with the new "politically-correct" global system that is emerging is going to be persecuted sooner or later. In our society today, it has become quite fashionable to bash Christians. In fact, I am quite certain that some of the comments that get left after this article will say really horrible things about Christians. But after "Big Brother" is done with the Christians, are you sure that they will not come after you next? When I speak of "Big Brother", I am not just speaking of the government. In today's world, giant corporations and the mainstream media also play instrumental roles in the totalitarian police state prison grid that is being constructed all around us. The elite control the government, they run nearly all of the major corporations and they own most of the major media outlets. Anyone that does not "conform" to their system is a threat. As time goes by, the persecution of those that attempt to "rebel" against their system is only going to become more intense.
So if you are not a Christian, do not applaud when the system cracks down on Bible-believing Christians.
You never know, you might be next.
The following are 18 examples of how Christians are being specifically targeted by "Big Brother"....
#1 Home Bible studies are now banned in the city of San Juan Capistrano, California. According to city officials, regular gatherings "of more than three people" in private homes are simply not allowed. One couple that has held home Bible studies for years has already been fined twice and is being threatened with even more fines.
#2 Paypal has initiated "formal investigations" of a large number of Christian websites and organizations. Apparently, many of these investigations have been launched due to concerns that these websites and organizations do not hold to a "politically-correct" view of sexuality.
According to WorldNetDaily, Paypal has targeted include Americans For Truth, Last Days Watchman and a host of other Christian organizations including "Abiding Truth Ministries, New Generation Ministries, Noua Dreapta of Romania, Truth in Action Ministries, Dove World Outreach, Faith Word Baptist Church, Family Research Institute and American Society for the Defense of Traditional Family".
#3 In Wichita, Kansas last year, a Christian minister was handcuffed and hauled off to jail by police for sharing the gospel and handing out tracts to Muslims on a public sidewalk. Apparently freedom of speech does not apply on the public sidewalks of America any longer.
#4 In the UK, police recently threatened a cafe owner with arrest for silently playing a Bible DVD on a small television on the back wall of his cafe. The following is an excerpt from a Daily Mail article about this incident....
Mr Murray, 31, was left shocked after he was questioned for nearly an hour by the officers, who arrived unannounced at the premises.
He said he had turned off the Bible DVD after an ‘aggressive inquisition’ during which he thought he was going to be arrested and ‘frog-marched out of the cafe like a criminal’.
#5 Last year, a high school student in Southern California was suspended for two days because he had private conversations with his classmates during which he discussed Christianity. He was also banned from bringing his Bible to school ever again.
#6 Big cable networks regularly feature "comedians" that love to mock Christians. For example, HBO "comedian" Bill Maher recently stated that "there's a term for people who hate charity and love killing: Christian".
If that had been said about another minority group, it would have made front page headlines for weeks.
#7 Down in Texas, the Department of Veteran Affairs actually tried to ban prayers that include the words "God" or "Jesus" during funeral services for veterans.
#8 In North Carolina last year, a pastor was dismissed from his chaplain duties for praying in the name of Jesus.
#9 An unclassified Department of Homeland Security report published a couple years ago entitled "Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment" claims that a belief in Bible prophecy "could motivate extremist individuals and groups to stockpile food, ammunition and weapons." The report goes on to state that such people are potentially dangerous.
#10 Back on February 20, 2009, the State of Missouri issued a report entitled "MIAC Strategic Report: The Modern Militia Movement". That report warned that the following types of people may be potential terrorists....
*anti-abortion activists
*those that are against illegal immigration
*those that consider "the New World Order" to be a threat
*those that have a negative view of the United Nations
#11 All over the nation, "child protection agencies" are ripping an inordinate number of children out of Christian homes. In many of these cases the parents believe in homeschooling their children or they do not believe in having their children vaccinated.
#12 On June 18, 2010 two Christians decided that they would peacefully pass out copies of the gospel of John on a public sidewalk outside a public Islamic festival in Dearborn, Michigan and within three minutes 8 police officers surrounded them and placed them under arrest.
#13 A Christian consultant was recently fired by Bank of America and by Cisco because they discovered a book that he had written that expressed Christian viewpoints about social issues.
#14 A while back, a federal judge actually ruled that the University of California can deny course credit to applicants from Christian high schools that use textbooks that teach that it was God who created the earth.
#15 Back in 2009, one 8 year old boy in Massachusetts was sent home from school and was forced to undergo a psychological evaluation because he drew a picture of Jesus on the cross.
#16 The Obama administration has announced that there is a whole host of laws that it will not be enforcing, but one thing that the Obama administration has chosen to do is to aggressively pursue lawsuits against anti-abortion protesters.
#17 During a Congressional hearing earlier this year, U.S. Representative Sheila Jackson Lee warned that "Christian militants" might try to "bring down the country" and that such groups need to be investigated.
#18 According to a shocking FBI document obtained by Oath Keepers, the FBI definition of "suspicious activity" now includes making "extreme religious statements" and believing in "radical theology".
The good news is that there still is at least a limited amount of religious freedom in America. It may soon be gone, but at least we are in better shape than most of the globe.
Almost 70 percent of the population of the world now lives in countries where religious activities are highly restricted.
The sad truth is that the entire planet is moving away from freedom of religion.
That is a right that we are supposed to be guaranteed under the U.S. Constitution, but it should be obvious to everyone that our right to religious freedom is rapidly dying.
If you are not religious, don't think that you should not be fighting for religious freedom along with the rest of us.
Once they take some of our rights away, it will be much easier for them to take all the rest of our rights away.
United we stand, or divided we will fall. •
