Resurrection Day 2011

Hello Lord! I want to thank You for all!
Thank You Jesus, for suffering and dying on the cruel cross to pay “in full” the sentence that rightfully belonged to me and me alone; And to which, because of my sins, I was eternally damned to hell. Thank You that Your love for me was so great that You, having known me before I was formed in my mother’s womb,
(Jeremiah 1:5a -"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;”)
before I was born, You decided through Your Grace and Mercy, that the sins I would commit would be paid by Yourself through the inhumanely cruel torture and suffering of Your own body on the cross, this payment that Father God required. I never deserved that love. I will live for eternity long and I will never deserve or be able to repay Your love for me.
Father God, You also suffered for my sins. You watched as Your only begotten Son died on that cross! You watched Him, who knew no sin, had all the earth’s sin placed on Him. The Beautiful baby that You saw grow into this Beautiful, sinless Man, was being crucified and You knew it had to happen! For it was the only hope of mankind. You suffered, Father... Oh, how You suffered also, Dear Holy Ghost, my dear Holy Comforter, You suffered terribly also, as The Lord Jesus, whom was from the union of Yourself and His earthly mother,
( Matthew 1:18 -“Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with Child of the Holy Ghost.”)
You suffered as all the sins of Humanity where placed on Him.
My Triune God, I could never thank You completely for all that You’ve given for me.
(1 John 5:7, KJV, -“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are One.”)
This I can say, forever I will be Your slave and Your servant and my love for You will be undying.

Investing in the Kingdom of God

End-time events will eventually take priority over all other aspects of our lives. If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, someday the Rapture may suddenly transport you into the glory of heaven. If you are a nonbeliever, you may live to see the near-total destruction of everything that man has built on earth.

The Bible warns us not to store our wealth here on earth. The reason is simple–money has no lasting value. It’s like having your savings in the currency of a third-world nation with a high inflation rate. In a few years, the money is made worthless by hyperinflation.

When we leave this world, the only thing we will take with us is whatever we have done to give honor to the Lord Jesus. I think many Christians will be shocked at what a limited amount of treasure they have stored up in their heavenly accounts.

The hardest part about doing something for the kingdom of God is getting started. I’ve learned from years of personal experience that over 90 percent of believers will never do anything productive for the Lord’s work. If we are truly Rapture ready, we have to be prepared to stand before the throne of God and say, “Master, this is what I’ve done….”

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10). •

Hello friends,
I wanted to speak with you today about something I've really been noticing lately.
People's declining moral values. I'm sure there are friends out there who aren't like that and I'm so thankful. In these end days it looks like the good keep getting better and the bad are just getting worse. I want us all to be ready for His arrival. Which could be at any moment; He did say His coming would be as a thief in the night. I want His return to be an expected and joyous occasion, not one I'll be embarrassed and ashamed about. Not one that I would say, "wow, if I knew You were coming I sure would have been acting kinder, not thieving, not screaming, not drinking, not drugging, not sexing, not abusing others, and I really meant to tell other people about You, I just didn't have time, Anyway, they didn't want to hear it, and plus it's really embarrassing trying to talk about religious stuff with others, they get so mad and call me a loser! For sure You believe me don't You?, You just caught me off guard, You know I'm great and You love everyone anyway, right?"
I sure don't want my Savior who died for me to come back, and after all the times I'd professed to loving Him, He could actually see that I loved myself more. I want everyone to truly love The Lord Jesus Christ like I do! I want everyone to constantly feel they need to be with Him and close to Him! I wish everyone wanted Him to come back right now. I feel sometimes that I'm one of the very few with that wish. I hope that isn't true. Please tell Him you love Him and that you're awaiting His return for you. He loves us so much. The time is truly short and I don't care who doesn't agree. They must be blind.

Hello everyone!

-I wanted to tell you about a dream I had that I just can't forget, and I can't figure it out either. This was Sunday night (actually Monday morning. I had just checked the alarm clock and then fell asleep again. It was shortly after 4:30 am.) I had a strange dream, in it there was a big white plane in the sky, flying low, but it was flying. I looked at it and it looked weird because it was flying with no Right Wing! There were people walking around and they weren't noticing this thing. All of the sudden this plane started falling and crashed to the ground right behind me. It's remaining wing was sticking straight up. No fire. No noise. No screaming. Everything was silent with the plane buried in the ground with the one remaining wing poking straight up! This happened again and again with 2 other planes for a total of 3 planes, one right after the other. They were all buried in the ground one right behind the other. I also knew that all of this had happened in just 6 minutes.
That was all. You must think I'm weird. This dream just won't leave my mind
and I don't know the meaning. Well, I just thought I'd share, friends.

Easter Eggs renamed Spring Spheres

Seattle school renames Easter Eggs as “Spring Spheres”

A Seattle area public school has changed the name of Easter Eggs to something more politically correct: “Spring Spheres”. Jessica, a sophomore at Seattle high school thinks an effort to rename Easter Eggs as ridiculous.

Jessica, who attends a private Seattle high school volunteered with a third grade class on a week long community service project. At the end of the week, she asked if it was acceptable to fill plastic eggs with jelly beans and treats and bring them into school as a sort of celebration at the end of the project. She wanted to check with the teacher for approval before bringing them. The teacher of the third grade class asked administration and explained that she could bring them in as long as they were called “Spring Spheres.”

Jessica, 16, agreed to call them Spring Spheres and brought them to school. The third graders, however, couldn’t be tricked, they knew they were Easter Eggs and called them such when they were presented to the students. Some of the kids said, “Wow, Easter eggs!” when they were taken out of the bag. •

People have told me they don’t believe in the Rapture because Jesus never talked about it. But is that really true?

For one thing, it may be a stretch, but Paul talked about the Rapture and it is quite possible that he got his information from Jesus. While on the road to Damascus, Jesus appeared unto him and said, “rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee” (Acts 26:16). Jesus commissioned Paul to witness to what he had seen and what he would see in the future. Some might say Jesus didn’t reveal the Rapture to Paul in the future, but there is evidence that he did.

We find that in Paul’s words to the Thessalonians when he said, “But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words” (I Thess 4:13-18). Notice that he said he was speaking “by the word of the Lord” (verse 15). He is saying this teaching on the Rapture is a direct revelation from Jesus. He made a similar claim about the gospel he preached (Gal. 1:11-12).

Then, there is that conversation that Jesus had with Martha when He raised Lazarus from the dead. Our Lord said, “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die” (Jn. 11:25-26)? Deceased believers (the dead in Christ) will live or be raised from the dead. And the living believers will never die (will be changed. And both will be caught up or Raptured in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye (I Thess. 4:17; I Cor. 15:51-52).

Those who think Jesus didn’t talk about the Rapture are on shaky ground. He proved that He can raise those who are dead and buried when He raised Lazarus (Jn. 11:42-43). And the fact that Enoch was translated without dying (Gen. 5:24; Heb. 11:5), and Elijah went up without dying (II Kings 2:11), and Paul was called up into the third heaven (II Cor. 2:2-4) proves that God can do that. In fact, “with God all things are possible” (Matt. 19:26). •

I read this today and I have to share it with you. Being that I'm disabled, I will never be able to undertake the journey to go there and see it for myself, so I will go there by way of this person's visit....

The kitchen barrack. That wooden carriage was used to bring in the day's ration in the morning (stale bread) and to carry the bodies of dead prisoners to the crematoriums in the evening. It was of course inmates that pulled the carriage.

I meant to write this post sooner, but I could not find the right words for it, and although I am not sure that I have found them yet, I will try to describe, as best as I can, my experience visiting the concentration camps of Auschwitz and Birkenau.

I have to say that visiting these two concentration camps was one of the most difficult experiences of my life. I knew it would be hard for me to be there, but I had no idea how hard the horror of these two places would hit me. Of course, the weather (it rained all day) and the fact that I was there alone did not help to make it easier for me to be there.

Auschwitz I has been turned into a free museum: one can visit this concentration camp alone or join a guided tour, which is what I did. Exhibitions have been set up in the buildings (all original) that still remain to this day. Auschwitz I was a relatively small place, most of the inmates being sent to Auschwitz II (Birkenau) instead. At Auschwitz I, one could find the offices of the SS officers, the mansions of the people in charge, the "hospital", where experiments were done on inmates, and other bureaucratic buildings. There was also a gas chamber and a crematorium, but these were destroyed by the Nazis when the War came to an end. They were, however, reconstructed for the benefit of the visitors of Auschwitz. I walked through the gas chamber (rebuilt on the grounds where the original previously stood) and saw the ovens used to burn the bodies of the thousands of people who died there, and it was absolutely sickening.

I, like almost everyone, had obviously heard a lot about Auschwitz before going there. I had seen documentaries and read books and heard stories, but nothing compares to being there and to seeing everything with your own two eyes.

Auschwitz II, also called Birkenau, is situated 3km away from Auschwitz I. This is where most of the inmates where sent to work and, ultimately, to die. I was shocked by the size of Birkenau- once you cross the main gate, all that you see is a sea of barracks, some still standing and some destroyed. My pictures do not do justice to the size of this place. This place was extremely well thought out- the railway goes directly into the camp, to make the transportation of prisoners as simple as possible. Birkenau is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Going to Auschwitz and Birkenau is certainly not a walk in the park, but I think that everybody owes it to himself, as well as to the victims of the Second World War, to visit these concentration camps so as to never forget this horrible tragedy and to ensure that nothing like this ever, ever happens again. • by Pearl

The Rapture is an event that can occur any moment. We cannot know the date, but we can know the season, for we have been given signs to watch for, and those signs are all around us today. We are definitely in the season, and the crucial question is, "Are you ready?" You can answer that question positively and with certainty only if you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
