HELLO FRIENDS!

This morning on the radio, I heard a pastor say some things that upset me.
This was from a pastor of a mega church in the Denver, CO area.
What he said was this:

The study of end-time events and studying the Book of Revelation
is of Satan;
A
sking for teaching of that kind in your church is brought on by Satanic forces. People should only be interested in the here and now!
That kind of thinking gets people off track of how they should be living now.

I could not believe what I heard. I won't mention his name. I won't give his ideas and beliefs any more publicity. God knows who he is. For myself, the reason I was upset with his words, is because, first and foremost, by telling people that it is satanic to talk about the upcoming, future events for all, including the 'Blessed Hope' is like telling people to disregard some parts of their Bible and only look to him for the Truth. (No, thanks. I'll pass.)

Revelation is a Book of triumph and victory for our God!!!

Jesus Christ is the Word.
Not that mega church pastor.
John 1:1 'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.'

I'll get the Truth from my Bible, thank you very much. I will never quit sharing the truth with you friends. Heaven is our true home. That is where our citizenship is. Jesus is our King.
It could happen sooner than we think. Perhaps today. I don't set dates. As long as everyday I'm looking for Him, our Bridegroom, where can I go wrong with that?
These days I have friends who ask me questions regarding the things they see in the news, things that make them uneasy. I do talk to them about those things, with reference to what the Bible says, to give them comfort in these uncertain times.

Jesus
Himself, was accused of being filled with the devil : (Matthew 12:24)
"But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow does not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils."

I think that Satan gets way too much credit.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (New Living Translation)

16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 17 God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. •

-Keep in mind, just because it's fed over the airwaves and it's free, doesn't mean it's worth anything, and it doesn't mean it won't make you sick! -Make sure you see what the Bible says about something before you believe it. Remember about wolves in sheep's clothing:

The Lord Jesus Christ warned His followers, "Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves (Matt. 7:15)

Blessings to you and yours, friends, -Rev.Debbie ♥
