Hello My friends!
Today I want to talk to you again about the rapture.
Some just need more proof to believe. Well that's fine. Everyone is walking at their own pace.
So...I've prepared this for you:
One of the most ridiculous claims by proponents of the ‘no rapture’ theory and by people who believe that all prophecy was fulfilled by 70 AD, is that they say the ‘cult of the rapture’* exists.
(* the rapture is a fraud of monumental proportions, as well as a disturbing way to instill fear in people.)
This type of attack on the doctrine of the rapture, (which is strongly supported in the Bible)
is simply a last ditch effort to defend their unsound and unbiblical interpretations.
I will show that the rapture is supported by numerous scriptures in the Bible.
Just a few of them are listed below:
I'd like you to keep in mind that the book of First Thessalonians is probably the first inspired book of the Apostle Paul. It was written about AD 50 or AD 51 from Corinth on the second missionary journey. I always thought that if I was being asked to pen something for The Lord God, would He not ask me to write that which was most important first? Something to consider.
1Thessalonians 4:13 "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope."
1Thessalonians 4:14 “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.”
1Thessalonians 4:15 “For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we which are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.”
1Thessalonians 4:16 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first”:
1Thessalonians 4:17 “Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord”.
1Thessalonians 4:18 “Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
1Corinthians 15:50 “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.”
1Corinthians 15:51 “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed”
1Corinthians 15:52 “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed”.
1Corinthians 15:53 “For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality.”
1Corinthians 15:54 “So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written,
Death is swallowed up in victory.”
Also, Never forget the very important Revelation 3:10:
“Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”
Something to note :Where you read this: ‘I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation’
the word ‘from’ in the Greek is ‘ek’. It’s meaning is ‘out of.’ Which makes the interpretation easier to understand.
Let’s read that verse again, using the words ‘out of’ in the place of ‘from’ : Rev. 3:10-
“Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee out of the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.”
Luke 21:36 "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."
After looking at the above scriptures it is clearly shown that the doctrine of the rapture is both sound and biblical. However, there will be (and has always been) in every discussion someone who will argue from a weak point of view and think they are right. I could say the sky is blue today and there will be some guy who (out there somewhere) will argue that it is brown. We all have run into these people and we all know how frustrating they can be. But even so, it is important to show why the rapture is indeed a sound and biblical concept, even if the answer will never satisfy everyone. One of the most glorious benefits the pre-trib rapture offers is the chance to be delivered from the seven-year tribulation. The only bad thing about it is the fact that millions of people continue to pass up the amazing opportunity to escape God's judgment of the earth. It's a far better choice to be able to avoid the King of Terror and instead stand in the presence of the King of Kings!
There is an abundance of evidence for those who will accept it.
