You are a foreigner in a land where you march to a different drummer. You don’t settle down in this world. It’s not your home; you’re only passing through.
If you dabble and delight in this world, yet your citizenship is in heaven, you’re going to have one foot in the world and one in heaven—just enough religion to make you miserable in the world and just enough of the world to make you miserable in your spiritual life. Instead, stay close to the Lord Jesus Christ. At all costs. Over anything you think you need in this life, He needs to come first. For your life now, and eternal life to come. Whatever you're going through...He's gone through. He's left this earth, and came back, for you. And for me. Give your life to Him today.
