The Rice Experiment
Emoto believes that since people are 70 percent water, and the Earth is 70 percent water, we can heal our planet and ourselves by expressing love and good will towards water. -
(I guess it works on rice too, you'll see...)
Masaru suggests trying out his theory with this simple experiment.
Cook some rice and add it to two separate jars. (a cup into each jar is perfect.)
On the first jar you write, "Thank You- I love you" on both sides of a piece of paper, so one side faces the rice inside, and the other side of the paper faces you.
On the second jar you write, "I hate you - You Fool", also on both sides of the paper so that these words are also facing inward and outward on the jar.
Make sure you seal the jars tightly. Set the jars about 18" apart, yet next to each other.
Every day pick up each jar at least once, and say what is written on the jar. When I spoke to the jar, I tried to really feel the emotions too. (I even kissed the loved jar a few times. The kids thought this was so funny. ) It took over a week before we started seeing any mold or fermentation.
After only a month, our results are amazing!
The "loved" rice is as white and fluffy as the day I put it in there. The "hated" rice is fermenting and molding. This experiment has been mind blowing to us! It truly shows how powerful our thoughts and words are. Imagine treating those you love with kindness and gratitude and how this affects them both physically and emotionally. Also consider what effect hate and negativity can create in our lives. Words have power!-
This experiment is something you have to see to believe. Try it! It's a fabulous way to learn more about the power of the words we choose. Our family is greatly affected by our words and thoughts toward them, as this experiment shows. What kind of energy do you want send to your kids and spouse, or other family members and loved ones, even pets? I am challenged to take this even more seriously; And it is certainly making me stop and think about what it means for me if I speak negatively about my body, my health, my mind, my talents. Instead of putting myself down and diminishing my own worth, what would happen if I spoke proudly and with gratitude about myself ? •
May God richly bless you all,
my dear friends!
